Atlantica was born in Asturias in 1998 as the response from several Artisanal cheese producers to provide their foreign customers with the most reliable export tool.

Having numerous demands it was mandatory to provide the most reliable and cost-effective export solutions.

Atlantica takes extensive measures in order to ensure that all our products meet the strictest quality standards.

Working closely with our suppliers to ensure that they have up to date third party audits. Most of them are certified by BRC, IFS, USDA or ISO.

Jose L González del Valle and Cova Pastor have been exporting cheese from Spain since 1998.

Living and working in Asturias in northern Spain, they enjoy the beauty of the largest cheese-making region in Europe.

Although international markets were not at the top of the mind for Asturian cheese makers in 1998, Atlantica´s experience that year at the Summer Fancy Food Show in NYC demonstrated American consumer´s interest in good cheese. The company now exports cheese and cheese accompaniments from all over Spain.

They are proud exporters of QUESO PARAMO DE GUZMAN awarded Best Cheese in the world by best seller writer of The Telling Room Michael Paterniti. The company also exports Marcona almonds, Membrillo, Serrano and Iberico hams, plus the best Spanish Tapas offering from gourmet seafood to delicious croquetas.
